ℹ️ About
The Buginese Letter Nyca (ᨏ) is a consonant in the Buginese (Lontara) script, historically used for the Buginese, Makassarese, and Mandar languages of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Technically, it represents the palatal nasal sound /ɲ/. Added in Unicode 4.1, it follows a left-to-right writing direction and belongs to the ‘Other Letter’ category.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ᨎ (Buginese Letter Nya) which lacks the specific structural “wave” top of Nyca.
