U+008D is a C1 Control Character known as Reverse Index (RI) or Reverse Line Feed. Unlike visible letters, it is a non-printing instruction typically used in terminal emulators to move the cursor up one line while maintaining the same horizontal position. It has been part of the Unicode standard since version 1.1.

⚠️ Note: This is a non-visible control character. In most modern browsers and text editors, it will appear as a blank space or a “missing character” box.
